Every engagement at The Namesake Studio begins the moment you share your family's story with us, and our policy reflects that: this work is bespoke from the first conversation, and our approach to refunds is built around when that work actually begins, not simply around the calendar.

The Art of Naming (digital ebook)

As an instant digital download, The Art of Naming is a final sale. Once your purchase is complete, we are unable to offer a refund. This is standard practice for digital products that cannot be returned, and it keeps the price accessible for everyone.

The Discovery List, The Signature Consult, and The Heirloom Package

You may cancel for a full refund within 48 hours of purchase, provided you have not yet submitted your naming questionnaire. Once the questionnaire has been submitted, or a scheduled session has taken place, your engagement is considered underway and the purchase is no longer refundable. The research, shortlist, and notes we prepare are built specifically for your family and cannot be resold or repurposed, which is why our refund window closes when that work begins rather than on a fixed number of days.

If you are at all uncertain, we would rather talk it through first. Reach out before you purchase, or begin with the free fifteen-minute consultation, and we can help you decide which service, if any, is the right fit.

Rescheduling and missed sessions

The Signature Consult and The Heirloom Package each include scheduled video sessions with Paris. We understand plans change, especially in the final months of pregnancy, so your first reschedule or missed session is on us, free of charge, provided you let us know at least 24 hours in advance where possible.

Beyond that first change, a fee of $75 CAD applies to reschedule again or to rebook after a missed session. This fee reflects the time held for you on the calendar and helps us keep that time fair to every family we work with. No refund is issued for a missed session.
